Seth is a third-generation financial advisor and managing partner at Compton Financial Group. He grew up watching his father and grandfather help individuals, families, and businesses achieve their financial goals, and saw how their financial guidance made a difference in others’ lives. Ultimately, he decided to follow in their footsteps and become a financial advisor himself.
Seth attended Eastern Washington University, where he majored in Finance with a minor in Economics, and received his CFP® designation from the College for Financial Planning in 2017. After spending some time working at different firm, where he focused on helping people meet their retirement goals, he helped establish Compton Financial Group as a Financial Planner and Managing Partner. Seth specializes in financial planning and investment management, and finds joy in using his skills to help others improve their lives.
Seth was born in West Richland, Washington, but moved away to play hockey for several years as a teen and young adult. He played five seasons in the Western Hockey League, which taught him many valuable life lessons, before he returned to West Richland at the age of 24. He continues to live in West Richland with his wife and high school sweetheart, Whitney, and their two kids, Kendall and William. Seth continues to enjoy playing hockey in his free time, as well as fly fishing, hunting, skiing, golfing, and simply spending time with family and friends.
